Application of Ethylene Diamine Tetra (Methylene Phosphonic Acid) Sodium Salt

EDTMPS(CAS:22036-77-7) is a nitrogen-containing organic polybasic phosphonate, which is a cathodic corrosion inhibitor. Compared with inorganic polyphosphate, the corrosion inhibition rate is 3-5 times higher. It is miscible with water, non-toxic and non-polluting, has good chemical stability and temperature resistance, and still has good anti-scaling effect at 200°C. It can dissociate into 8 positive and negative ions in aqueous solution, so it can chelate with multiple metal ions to form multiple monomer structure macromolecular network complexes, which are loosely dispersed in water, destroying the normal crystallization of calcium scale, and EDTMPS has good anti-scaling effect on calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scale.
EDTMPS(CAS:22036-77-7) is used as a corrosion and scale inhibitor for circulating water and boiler water, a complexing agent for cyanide-free electroplating, a chelating agent in the textile printing and dyeing industry, and an oxygen bleaching stabilizer.
